Suzanne Ecuyer Bayle

SUZANNE ECUYER BAYLE is a partner in the law firm of Morris Lee, Bayle & Willis, LLC, where she practices in the areas of Family Law and Adoptions. Ms. Bayle specializes in Family Law litigation, Collaborative Law, marital agreements and adoptions, including interstate compact placements.

She graduated from Loyola University in 1986 with a BS in Accounting. She received her Juris Doctorate in 1989 from LSU Law School, and successfully completed the CPA exam in 1990.

Ms. Bayle has lectured on numerous issues related to mediation, adoption, family law and collaborative divorce over the years, is a Louisiana Board Certified Family Law Specialist, a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Attorneys, a Fellow in the American Academy of Adoption & Assisted Reproduction Attorneys, a certified family law mediator, and is trained in Collaborative Divorce Law. She is a member of the Collaborative Divorce Alliance of Greater New Orleans and International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Suzanne is a member of the 22nd Judicial District Court Bar Association, where she was an officer from 2001-2004 and served as President in 2004, as well as the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, and AICPA.

Ms. Bayle is active in her community and volunteers throughout St. Tammany and Orleans Parishes including: Leadership St. Tammany Class of 2004; Leadership St. Tammany Board of Trustees 2004-2008 where she served as Chairperson in 2005-2006; Board of Directors of the Youth Service Bureau from 2004-2010; YSB Executive Committee from 2006-2009, and YSB Vice Chairperson from 2006-2008; Since leaving the YSB Board of Directors in 2010, she has continued on as General Counsel for the Youth Service Bureau on a pro bono basis; Habitat for Humanity; Child in Need of Care court volunteer attorney; Master Member of the 22nd Judicial District Court Inns of Court; Attorney Volunteer coordinator for the Pro Bono Project; SOLACE Northshore Coordinator from 2004 to present; and a Louisiana State Bar Examiner.

Ms. Bayle has been selected to the Louisiana Super Lawyers from 2008-current, and was selected as one of the Top 25 Women Super Lawyers in Louisiana for several years.

Morris Lee & Bayle was the recipient of the Pro Bono Project’s Firm of the Year award in 2003; and the Louisiana Bar Association’s Pro Bono Publico Award in 2004.
